Youtube is a video-sharing website and it allows users upload, comment, share on video. There are almost 1.5 billions users worldwide. YouTuber is internet celebrity who have their YouTube channel and share different type of video on their channel. This is one of the digital marketing channel that many brands will invite some popular YouTubers to promote their products. YouTube is a useful marketing tool to build personal brand or marketing your brand.

Nowadays, there are different types of YouTuber around the world. Let’s talk about three popular types of YouTuber and how they work.

- Beauty: Beauty YouTuber are well-know on makeup and skincare. They always try on different brands’ makeup product and share their experience with their viewers on YouTube. Also, they will performing makeup tutorial to viewers. Eg, Rachel Levin.
- Gaming: Gaming YouTuber are focus on video games. They will record their screen while playing different type of video games and share those videos on YouTube that they can help views improve their skills. Eg, DanTDM.
- Fashion: Fashion YouTubers focus on clothing and accessories. Most of successful fashion YouTube have strong senses of style and they will share their daily outfit and favourites fashion stuffs with viewers. Eg, Zoella.

Great post! I have followed a large amount of YouTubers since around 2011 when it started to become a lot more mainstream and “influencers” started getting strongly monetized for their content. I think it can be a great job if they are truthful about the reviews of their products, however, there’s no telling where the industry will head.

Yup! YouTuber is a “influencers”, i also follow a lot of YouTubers, especial Beauty and fashion YouTubers and I always buy the product which they recommended on YouTube.

YouTube influencers are a very powerful tool for marketers! I often find more persuaded by their recommendations since their connection with subscribers feels a lot more authentic than on 2D platforms such as Instagram.

I think Youtuber is very influential in market and they are the new advertising method, it is because the unique relationship between you tubers and their viewers who are usually children and young people. Youtuber’s genuine opinion on a product are very easy to influence viewers. As i said there are almost 1.5 billion users worldwide. Therefore, I think YouTube is an effective channel for influencer marketing.
